Our rural house Segovia was the old barn of great-grandmother Ciriaco in Cabanillas del Monte, the small village of Segovia located in the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park where we live and have our family project of rural tourism Tenada del Monte. Our rural house has four stars and was inaugurated in 2005. Our location in the province is a luxury. Just 10 minutes from the capital, with lots of charm, good cuisine and all kinds of facilities and amenities. We have 5 rooms, spacious, comfortable and very bright in a cozy atmosphere that will make you feel at home. At the same time it has 4 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.

From El Mirador de la Cigüeña there are beautiful views of the Sierra de Guadarrama, with the "La Mujer Muerta" as reference and the Cathedral of Segovia with its tower. From our balcony you can see San Miguel, a small and coquettish Romanesque church, in whose tower the storks grow up.

We propose you to practice ecotourism in Segovia within the Sierra de Guadarrama Natural and National Park and, following the recommendations of the UN, which has adopted a historic resolution that recognizes that ecotourism is a key element in the fight against poverty, protection of the environment and the promotion of sustainable development.
The CERES ECOTUR project applies the Eceat-International Quality System (European Center for Ecological and Agricultural Tourism) through the ECOLABEL ECEAT for the ecotourism initiatives of our country. It consists of some obligatory basic commitments, in Sustainable Agriculture, Cultural Heritage, Environmental Environment and Renewable Energies.

"We were in the house last spring, and we always have trouble finding an accessible house for one of our friends who is in a wheelchair and we finally found it." The barbecue area is amazing, because you can be there even if it rains. The town is very small, so it is ideal to spend a few quiet days. We will return for sure, because these houses are difficult to find and of course we have been very well. "

In the cozy living room with fireplace you can enjoy with family or friends during the winter with board games or reading a good book. And with the good weather, go out to the porch and the garden, to have breakfast with the morning sun. The shed with barbecue, roofed and closed is the ideal place to enjoy pleasant and quiet evenings.

It also has a plot of 4000 square meters, our "stress free space", where we have the chicken coop and organic garden and an area with table and chairs to "connect" with nature.
