Mar, David and the little ones Malena and Mateo invite you to enjoy our humble family project of sustainable nature tourism, in the surroundings of Segovia, in a small village in the Sierra de Guadarrama called Cabanillas del Monte, surrounded by meadows and fresnedas where our cows and chickens graze. Proud to live in this village, cradle of the ancestors of the Mar, we try to transmit the rural way of life combining housing with the realization of diverse activities related to knowledge and respect towards the closest environment. And that's what we've been doing since 2005, trying to make our travelers feel at home and at the same time have a wide range of activities to immerse themselves in nature, "ruralize", experiment and relax.

ECOLABEL CERES ECEAT. 

We propose you to practice ecotourism in Segovia within the Sierra de Guadarrama Natural and National Park and, following the recommendations of the UN, which has adopted a historic resolution that recognizes that ecotourism is a key element in the fight against poverty, protection of the environment and the promotion of sustainable development.
The CERES ECOTUR project applies the Eceat-International Quality System (European Center for Ecological and Agricultural Tourism) through the ECOLABEL ECEAT for the ecotourism initiatives of our country. It consists of some obligatory basic commitments, in Sustainable Agriculture, Cultural Heritage, Environmental Environment and Renewable Energies.

01 From Madrid

The Mirador de la Cigüeña is located about 100 km from Madrid capital, which translates into a 1-hour drive. Leaving from Madrid you have to take the A-6 towards La Coruña. Afterwards, we will take the AP-61. We will continue to Segovia to take the SG-20 ring road towards Valladolid / Soria, taking the San Cristobal de Segovia exit. Passing this town and Trescasas we will find the junction towards Torrecaballeros. 2 km from this junction we find the detour to Cabanillas del Monte

02 From Segovia

Segovia capital is located about 9 km to El Mirador de la Cigüeña These are about 10 minutes by car. To get there you will have to take the road that goes up to Trescasas from Via Roma and at the crossroads take the detour to Torrecaballeros. 2 km from this junction we find the detour to Cabanillas del Monte

03 From La Granja de San Ildefonso

To get to El Mirador de la Cigüeña from the Real Site of La Granja de San Ildefonso, you will have to walk about 8 km. Taking the SG-6121 from La Granja you will be in about 8 minutes by car.
